The context presented here is mainly the result of an extensive work on the UniProt production pipeline at EBI but can be applied to any production pipeline or quality analysis or both. It's been updated in a daily basis.

• Hacking the System

This wiki is BETA (in the Google sense), which means it's not finished nor never will be. It's the place we like to write things that should stay in the same place they were written, as opposed to a blog post that goes down and away as soon as there is new content.

Because of the structure, the type of things we write here will be quite different from what's written in the blog. Instead of impressions, reviews and random thoughts there will be a bit of random knowledge here but hardly any wisdom. Feel free to read and disagree and send your suggestions.
