I agree our power is small next to governments' and that capitalism won't stop for anything by itself.

But, my point is deeper than it might seem. Greenpeace would put a sign on the wall, I'm saying we should put a sign inside ourselves.

We are, after all, the same human beings that will vote (or would be voted) in the next elections. We are the ones that will shape the future, if we don't change ourselves, how can we change the world?

Lots of people think that their part in the world is just to sit and wait for changes. Even those that do agree it's all wrong, they won't bother changing anything and would happily live by the oppressing rules of modern capitalism, even thinking it's the "right way".

If we stop ranting about capitalism and start teaching people (not governments) to discern good from bad, we can than later appeal to reason rather than forcing them to accept our points of view.

Knowledge has power, people have knowledge. People can change the world. My final point is that knowledge is more powerful than governments and even money.

Excellent analysis!
Penso que "it is necessary but not enough".
Karl Marx, O Capital, cap 22)
